Events in connection with the Rare Disease Day 2010

Rare Disorders Denmark will mark the day by two set of activities:

First, Rare Disorders Denmark will use Rare Disease Day 2010 to launch the POLKA play decide games. Rare Disoders Denmark will be hosting game nights where the  participants gets knowledge about topics such as Orphan Drugs and Neonatal Screening and discusses various policy scenarios. Two game nights will be taking place:

- On the 26. of Febuary, The mini-Round Table of farmaceutical compagnies will be playing with representatives from the societies of Rare Disorders Denmark.

- On the 4. of March, members of parliament will be playing with members of Rare Disorders Executive Committee. The participants will discuss topics about neonatal screening.

Second, on the Rare Disease Day, the 28th of February, Rare Disorders Denmark are hosting a conference about genetics and human reproduction. Various experts will discuss the ethical and biology-technological aspects of the selection and deselection of having children.
