Citizens from Tianjin encountered the “rare disease” in the mall
People who went to the Tianjin New World Mall at Feb 28TH could got an instruction brochure about rare disease. Also, 8 post boards illustrating information of rare disease were shown to the people in the lobby with the explanation by 9 volunteers. To memorize “the Day Of International Rare Disease” which held every four years at Feb 29TH, China-dolls Care and Support Association(Chi-docs) selected Feb 28TH as the special occasion to stage this scientific publicity especially for the citizens in Tianjing.
People in the mall were glad to communicate with Chi-docs volunteers when they read the instructions, gaining much more knowledge about rare disease at the same time. Most of them showed their respect to the organization like Chi-docs which aimed to solve the problems occurred by rare diseases. Two of the people showed their expectation to be one of the association’s volunteers.
During the five hour’s publicity, more than 100 people read the instructions and began to know the rare disease. Citizens did not only learn the disease, but also showed there desire to participate more charity activities and contribute to this group of patients.
