In Stuttgart many patient organisations raise awareness of rare diseases

These patient organisation will raise awareness for people living with rare diseases in Stuttgart.

·         HSP Selbsthilfe Deutschland e.V.

·         Deutsche Gesellschaft für Muskelkranke DGM e.V.

·         Mukoviszidose e.V.

·         Fibromyalgie-Selbsthilfeverband e.V

·         Interessengemeinschaft Arthrogryposis (IGA) e.V.

·         Deutsche Ehlers-Danlos-Initiative e.V.

·         Turner-Syndrom-Vereinigung Deutschland e.V.

·         Pro Retina Deutschland e.V.

They are supported by their patroness Susanne Verweyen – Mappus, the wife of the prime minister of Baden-Württemberg.

Together they will call attention and inform about the problems and needs of people with rare diseases. As in many other German cities in Stuttgart will also ascend hundreds of red ballons to set an visual example for the about four million affected people in Germany.
