Conference about genetics

Rare Disorders Denmark host a conference about genetics in connection with The Rare Disease Day 2010. The conference will take it's starting point in the ethical and biology-technological aspects of selection and deselection of having children. 

At the conference a numeous number of experts will address the audience. Dr. med., professor Thomas G. Jensen will discuss how diseases are inherited and talk about the opportunities for instruments to stem cells. Chief physician, clinical lecturer, medical specialist in clinical genetics, cand. med. Peter K. A. Jensen will discuss genetic counselling. Other than that managing director and member of The Danish Council of Ethics Lene Jensen will discuss the ethical aspects.

The conference is open to all members of Rare Disorders Denmark and will take place at The University of Aarhus.
