Welcome to Rare Disease Day in the UK
In the UK, Rare Disease UK in collaboration with the Genetic Interest Group is hosting three events in celebration of the second Rare Disease Day in 2009.
The events will take place in Cardiff at the Welsh Assembly, in Edinburgh at the Scottish Parliament and in London at the House of Commons.
The first event will take place on Wednesday 25th February in Westminster,

Rare Disease UK is an alliance of key stakeholders brought together to develop a national plan for Rare Diseases in the UK.
The Genetic Interest Group (GIG) is the UK national alliance for all people affected by genetic disorders.
Rare Disease UK and the Genetic Interest Group are working together to promote Rare Disease Day in the UK.
